The Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act (2015) seeks to improve the social, economic, environmental and cultural well-being of Wales.
In partnership with Sport Wales, we are committed to emphasising the role of sport and sport-for-development activities in building a skilled and resilient future generation for Wales – contributing directly to the goals of this Act.
In considering sports leadership and sport for development, this position statement outlines how the Leadership Skills Foundation aligns its leadership skills development and education programmes with the act and it’s seven wellbeing goals.
Regulated by Qualifications Wales, Leadership Skills Foundation provides nationally recognised, accredited awards and qualifications that contribute to the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act.
We strive to prepare and empower young people for their futures and ensure this meets local government agendas.
