Do all new tutors and assessors have to undergo tutor training?
No, but we would advise that you do. It’s free, readily available and really does support your delivery.All centres need to have at least one person trained. If there isn’t currently anyone at your centre with ‘Trained Tutor’ status, someone must successfully complete tutor training as soon as possible.

Does my centre manager or internal verifier (IV) training expire?
No. Once you’ve done the training, you’re set for life!
Do I need to redo my tutor training if I move to a new centre?
No. Your ‘Trained Tutor’ status is personal to you and travels with you wherever you go. It’s a great piece of CPD to have under your belt. We just ask that you let us know if your email address changes.
Do I get a certificate when I complete centre training?
Yes. Your certificate will be available to download as soon as you successfully complete the training.
What support is available to me as a tutor or assessor?
You will have unlimited access to our free tutor training as well as a range of resources to help you deliver your courses successfully. Plus, we are always on hand to answer any questions.
