An introduction to leadership skills
The PlayMaker Award is a great introduction to leadership skills. It gives your learners the knowledge of how to organise small games and activities that can be used in school, in community groups, and with family and friends. The PlayMaker Award helps learners develop leadership skills such as organisation, communication and teamwork. It will also build confidence and self-esteem as your learners take on the responsibility of assisting in leading their peers and younger children.
Anyone can become a PlayMaker, regardless of their leadership experience. The PlayMaker Award is designed in a way so that learners can participate, lead activities that interest them, and learn about essential leadership skills.
The recommended age range is 9-11 years old, but it can be adapted to use with older students.

- Tutor activity cards to support your delivery sessions.
- Leadership Journals for your learners so they can record their learning and reflections throughout their journey.

- Certificates for your learners once they complete their award.

Pricing for the PlayMaker Award
The PlayMaker Award can be purchased by any educational setting on a per learner basis.
Primary schools can purchase a licence (the PlayMaker Licence) that will allow them to deliver the award across their school for a fixed annual price.
Organisations that deliver the PlayMaker Award across multiple primary schools will need a licence (the PlayMaker Licence) for each primary school they deliver the PlayMaker Award to.
