Personal development in students can sometimes be one of the hardest elements of the inspection criteria to evidence. As educators, we want to make sure students leave education as a rounded version of themselves. How do we do this in a way that is meaningful for them and also provide tangible evidence of this process when required?
And how do we ensure that the skillset they leave with meets the needs of the local area?
In this webinar, Hartpury College and Derby College will talk us through exactly how they are achieving both these aims using the Sports Leaders Programme. They will take us through how their use of sports leadership has allowed them to develop their students’ skillset in a way that gives them essential skills for life and benefits the local community and work force.
Hartpury will also walk us through their recent “Outstanding” rating from Ofsted and the way they utilised the Sports Leaders Programme to support this work.
