We are excited to be supporting afPE’s National Development Day this December. The day will feature a range of inspirational and insightful keynotes, accompanied by a large choice of workshops (including practicals), and the opportunity to network with others in the PESSPA space.
As part of the support we are offering, our Director for Innovation and Standards, Lucy Supperstone, will be delivering one of the key workshops: Meeting the Professional Needs for a Thriving Workforce.
This workshop will explore the barriers and gaps for raising the bar for PE in schools and colleges. A roadmap for the delivery of accredited professional development will be outlined from Early years to FE for the workforce to access.
The Professional Institute for Accredited Physical Education has been developed by afPE with the Leadership Skills Foundation as their accrediting partner. This roadmap of professional learning and development has been informed by the workforce and developed to meet the needs identified by the workforce.
Deliverers:
- Lucy Supperstone, Leadership Skills Foundation
- Steve Caldecott, Association for Physical Education
